Hi guys ,
vi giro così come ricevuto una ulteriore offerta per questo safari di 7 giorni con partenza e arrivo da Nairobi . E' più dettagliata e precisa meglio l'itinerario .
Se il cambio euro dollaro tiene mi sembra ragionevole il prezzo .
Per un gruppo di 4 persone o multiplo il prezzo indicato potrebbe scendere ancora .

Suggested itinerary:
Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdares
Depart Nairobi in the morning with picnic lunch boxes and drive through central Kenya to Aberdare National Park. Enter the park through the Tree Tops gate and do a game drive at the salient, which is the lower part of the park and rich in wildlife. Some of the animals found here are like the elephants,rhinos ,buffaloes ,water and reedbucks and countless giant forest hogs. Drive through the bamboo forest and further up the moorland for dinner and overnight at Fishing Lodge.
Day 2: Satima summit
Depart camp after breakfast with picnic lunch boxes and drive through the open Moorlands up to the road head from where your hike starts (3200m). Ascend the Aberdares highest peak - the Oldonyo La Satima (4100m) as you enjoy the sights of the beautiful valleys and the mutants of alpine plants - groundsel, erica, hypericum, lobelia and sennecio that grow in profusion. Conquering the top of La Satima takes 3-4hrs and and there is time to enjoy a picnic lunch on the top. On clear days magnificent views of the Great Rift Valley are to be seen to the west and an equally magnificent view of the snow capped Mount Kenya Peaks - the second highest in Africa. Return to Fishing Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Kiandogoro Nature trail
After a leisurely breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes for an exclusive guided walk along the Kiandongoro Nature Trail as well as visiting the various waterfalls, the tallest and most impressive being Karuru and Gura that fall almost 300m. Variety of wildlife are present ranging from small sun birds to sometimes lions and elephants. Then drive through the beautiful Kikuyu country side to Naromoru Youth Hostels ( base of climbing mt. Kenya) for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Youth Hostels - Met Station
Depart after breakfast and drive to Naromoru Park Gate. After registration continue with your drive through the rain forest for about 9 km with picnic lunch en route to Met Station (3050m) for dinner and overnight. This day will be spend at leisure for acclimatization. Dinner and overnight at Met Station.
Day 5: Met Station - Mckinders Camp
Depart Met Station walking through the moorland and along the Teleki Valley with a picnic lunch en-route arriving Mackinders camp ( 4300m ) early evening. Dinner and over night at the camp.
Approx walking time 7hrs.
Day 6: Point Lenana - Old Moses
Wake up early morning ( 0300hrs) and hike to the summit arriving point Lenana (4985m ) around 0630hrs. After a photo session descend down to Shipton Camp for a full breakfast then further down along Mackinders Valley arriving Old Moses late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 7: Old Moses - Back to Nairobi
After breakfast bid goodbye to the twin peaks of Batian and Nelion and descend down through the rain forest for 9 kms to the Sirimon Gate where you get your transport back to Nairobi, making a lunch stop in Nanyuki.

Price includes:

- All camping gear - tents, mountain mats except sleeping bags (but you can hire from us at $4 per bag per day)
We provide a variety of foods to permit varied meals with full breakfasts with foods such as eggs, sausage, toast or pancakes, hot cereal, fruit and juice, tea or coffee. Lunches are sometimes packed and sometimes hot, so will vary. Dinners will have meat dishes of beef, chicken or fish, fresh vegetable dishes, pasta, rice, potatoes, homemade soups, fresh fruits, desserts, juice, tea, coffee
Not included:
- Expenses of personal nature such as visas, travel/baggage insurance, laundry, beverages, tips etc.
- Mineral water for drinking, except for the first day
- Personal gear or clothing for the climb but is available for hire.
For the climb, we provide 1L water for the first day only and the balance is taken from the mountain and purified. You can bring purification tablets, a filter system or the cook can boil water for you in the evenings. You should have a torch-a headlamp type is best, extra batteries, warm waterproof pants and jacket, warm clothes to layer, hat that covers your ears or even your face, gloves, warm socks, gaiters and good climbing boots, lip balm and sunscreen and sunglasses or goggles. The glare for the snow and ice can cause serious sunburn.
You should only carry a day- pack with your camera, valuables, water, sunscreen, etc. In budget climbs, 10 kg of personal gear to be carried by porters is the allowed norm. If you wish to bring more and additional porters are needed, you will be charged for the extra expense.
